Lice Removal Services
Lice Aunties comes to you and kills the nits (the eggs) and lice (the critters) using the LouseBuster™ device combined with manual combing. Treatment time varies depending on how many family members are affected, but figure on approximately 30 minutes with the LouseBuster device and a 30 to 60 minute comb out per person with a lice outbreak. We are happy to advise you about your home, answer any questions that you have, and are available by phone for ongoing free lice advice.

Two treatments:
- LouseBuster™ treatment with up to an hour comb out.
$200 - For children under the age of four and for individuals who cannot tolerate warmer air, we do all of the nit and lice removal manually, both combing and nitpicking. Count on us needing to work on your child for between one and two hours. If there is a very significant infestation, it can take longer.
$100/hour
No minimum charge, although we do charge for travel. We provide head checks for the whole family when we come to your home. (If we don't check everyone in your home, you run the risk of becoming re-infested.)
Before we arrive:
- Please make sure to have hair brushed, combed and shampooed with regular shampoo if you have used a product like Nix or Rid.
- Please have some kind of entertainment that doesn't require a lot of moving around. DVDs are great.
- We provide a chair for the "customer" but we will need an electrical outlet nearby for the special lighting and other equipment that we bring.
Lice Aunties also provides on-site checks at schools and camps, and lice removal services for camps in the Northeast.
